This porch belongs to a woman named Laura and her daughter, and this project is part of a larger neighborhood arts event called Wraparound, brought to you by Kelsey Nelson.  “Wraparound is a neighborhood arts event taking place on front porches in the Boise neighborhood on Saturday, May 26th. Neighbors will be creating and hosting performances, installations, interactive arts events and more.  This event is free to all and all are welcome to attend. Join us as we take art out of the gallery and onto our block. What can we dream up together? What makes our neighborhood great? Maps will be available beginning at 9:00 am on the 26th at The Hideout: 3813 NE Cleveland Avenue. Potluck at 6:00 pm on Cleveland between Failing and Beech.” If you are in Portland on Saturday, May 26, come over! We’ll be on the porch(es).
